Summary

The RoHS directive is the Rest riction of the use of cert ain hazardous substances in electrical and elect ronic equipment issued by the European Union. It is required that from July 1, 2006, the use of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated in electrical and electronic products newly put on the EU market is prohibited. Diphenyl ether (PBDE) and other 6 toxic and hazardous substances. The specific limit standards are shown in Table 2-1. Sample Preparation


For RoHS samples, try to melt them into lumps and put them in the sample cup. Before the measurement, wipe the surface of the sample with dust-free paper to ensure that the surface of the sample is clean and free of foreign matter.




Calibration


Use the company's existing PVC samples to establish the curve using the internal standard method. The measurement time is 300 seconds.
