Recently, the 2025 Jiangxi Province Ecological Environment Monitoring Technical Exercise was successfully concluded in Nanchang. This competition, organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, aimed to comprehensively assess and enhance the technical proficiency and practical capabilities of monitoring teams across the province, providing robust support for advancing the battle against pollution and building a beautiful Jiangxi. The independently developed TX series of portable total reflection X-ray fluorescence spectrometers from LANScientific provided critical instrumental support for the event, helping participating teams demonstrate their exceptional skills in practical scenarios.


1. Intense Competition and Impressive Performances at the Exercise

This event closely adhered to the requirements of "precision, digital intelligence, and systematization," featuring two practical tracks: laboratory analysis and emergency monitoring. It comprehensively assessed participants' overall capabilities through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice. A total of 44 teams and 176 contestants from across the province competed on the same stage, honing their emergency response and precise analysis skills in real-world scenarios. This provided strong support for advancing the battle against pollution, continuously improving ecological and environmental quality, and strengthening the ecological security barrier.

In the Class B competition, the TX series of portable total reflection X-ray fluorescence spectrometers played a pivotal role in enabling the participating teams to achieve outstanding results. Of the 15 individual awards, 11 were secured using this equipment, while it contributed to winning 9 out of the 12 team awards. This remarkable accomplishment not only showcased the exceptional professional capabilities of Jiangxi’s monitoring technicians but also demonstrated through practical application that the equipment fully meets the competition’s high standards of “precision and digital intelligence.” It further highlighted the instrument’s reliability and technical sophistication in complex detection scenarios.
