Aluminum and Anodized

Anodizing is the electrochemical oxidation of a metal or alloy. For example, the commonly used aluminum anodizing is a process in which aluminum and its alloys form an oxide film on aluminum products under the corresponding electrolyte and specific process conditions due to the action of external current. Anodizing of aluminum products is to overcome the defects of aluminum alloy surface hardness and wear resistance.

At the same time, this expands the scope of application and prolongs the service life, and surface treatment technology has become an indispensable part of the use of aluminum alloys. The metal oxide film changes the surface state and performance, such as increasing surface coloring, improving corrosion resistance, enhancing wear resistance and hardness, and protecting the metal surface.
